So I was scrolling through Instagram this morning drinking my coffee, right? Saw this post about Taurus health horoscopes for the month. Normally I’m like “whatever” about zodiac stuff, but this one said “plan healthy routines now!” in big letters. Got me thinking – my energy’s been crap lately, so why not try it?
How I Started
First thing I did was grab my notebook – the one with coffee stains all over it. Wrote down what the horoscope suggested: more stability (big Taurus thing apparently), earlier bedtimes, and earth-related exercises like hiking. Made me chuckle ’cause I haven’t hiked since 2019!
The Actual Plan
Here’s what my Taurus-inspired week looked like:
- Monday: Went to bed at 10PM instead of 1AM
- Wednesday: Dusted off my old sneakers for a trail walk
- Friday: Meal-prepped roasted root veggies (earth food!)
- Sunday: Did zero work – just gardened all afternoon
What Actually Happened
Okay, reality check time. That 10PM bedtime? Failed miserably Tuesday when my neighbor’s dog wouldn’t stop barking. The hiking went better – found this dope forest path near my place. Felt super grounding, though my legs were like jello after.
Biggest surprise was the veggies. Never knew sweet potatoes and beets could taste good together! But Sunday gardening was the real win. Got dirt under my nails, talked to my tomato plants – weirdly satisfying even though nothing’s blooming yet.
After a Week…
Honestly? My sleep’s still messed up but the trail walks stuck. Found out woods smell way better than my gym’s rubber mats. The horoscope wasn’t magic, but it gave me that little push to try boring healthy stuff I keep avoiding. Still waiting on those “cosmic energy boosts” though – might need another cup of coffee for that.
