This morning I grabbed my coffee and opened my phone. Saw that Taurus horoscope for July popping up everywhere. Thought “why not try it? Could be fun”. So I sat down to see what it said about this month.
Reading the Taurus Predictions
Scrolled through the whole forecast. Three things jumped out:
First: Money stuff needs attention. They said “review expenses” because unexpected costs might hit.
Second: Old friends might reappear outta nowhere. The advice was “be open but set boundaries”.
Third: Work stress could spike mid-month. Horoscope suggested “block deep focus time”.
My Morning Action Plan
Figured I’d test-drive all three pieces of advice today:
Step 1: Pulled up my banking app right after breakfast. Went through last three months of spending. Made two lists:
- Necessities (rent/groceries)
- “Why did I buy this?” category (that fancy cheese board used once?)
Step 2: Texted my college buddy Jake who messaged last night. We hadn’t talked in two years. Set clear plans “Coffee Saturday 10 AM, one hour only”.
Step 3: Blocked my calendar for afternoon. Put big red “DO NOT DISTURB” sticky note on monitor.
How It Actually Went Down
Money review: Found three subscriptions I forgot about! That yoga app I never use? Canceled instantly. Saved $34/month already.
Friend situation: Jake tried changing plans to “whole day hangout”. Stuck to my boundary. Felt good saying “Nah man, got stuff to do”.
Focus time: My sister called during blocked time. Let it go to voicemail. Finished work report two hours early. Boss emailed “great job”.
Evening Realizations
While walking my dog later, I thought about the horoscope advice. Stuff actually worked when I did it step-by-step:
- Small money fixes prevent big panic later
- Being clear with people saves energy
- Guarding your time equals less stress
Was it magic? Nah. But paying attention made me handle things better. Gonna keep trying this through July. Wonder what’ll happen next week…
