So this morning I grabbed my phone with my eyes half-closed, figured I’d check that Taurus horoscope since April just started. Seriously needed some good vibes, y’know? My back was killing me from gardening yesterday – typical Taurus stubbornness, overdid it again.
Setting Things Up
Poured some coffee first thing. Can’t function without caffeine. Sat down with my notebook and pen – old school, I know. Opened up that horoscope site I always peek at. April 1st stuff said things like:
- “Unexpected cash appears!”
- “You charm everyone at work!”
- “Take a risk today – it pays off!”
Figured I’d actually test this nonsense for once. No special vibes or anything, just did regular morning stuff: walked the dog, showered, made toast. Kept the luck stuff kinda floating in the back of my brain though.
Testing the Prediction
Around lunch, hit the coffee shop like always. Ordering my latte and… bam! Found a fiver near the milk station. Cool! Five bucks ain’t life-changing, but hey – unexpected cash counts, right? Horoscope: 1 point.
Back home while doomscrolling through work emails, I remembered the charm thing. Decided to hype up Sam from accounting in that project meeting – mentioned their help unprompted. Suddenly got three 👍 reacts on Slack from higher-ups. Weird. Maybe the charm worked? Horoscope: Another point?
Then came the “risk” part. Saw some guy downtown struggling with luggage near a bus stop. Normally I’d keep walking, but remembered the horoscope. Shrugged and offered to help. Dude was SO relieved – turned out he was late for his daughter’s surgery. Didn’t magically find a lottery ticket or anything… But felt kinda cool helping. Risky? Nah. Worth it? Yeah.
How It All Shook Out
Ended the day looking at that notebook again. Coffee money found? Check. Good feedback vibes? Sorta check. Random stranger helped? Check.
Is this magic astrology? Hell no. Mostly random crap happening like any Tuesday. BUT… thinking about “luck” made me notice small good things and do nice stuff I wouldn’t normally do. Maybe that’s the real point? You pay attention, you create little wins.
Would I plan my life around this? Nah. Was it fun noticing stuff today? Yeah. Might do this monthly just to mess around. Predictions were dead wrong about finding a “life-changing” opportunity though. Still stuck paying bills like everyone else!
